The Southern Oregon University Distinguished Faculty Awards are split up into three categories: Distinguished Teaching Award, Distinguished Service, and Distinguished Scholarship/Creativity Award.

Four awards in each category are given on an annual basis.

This award includes a certificate, plaque, and $500 honorarium and may include a graduation regalia stole. Additionally, awardees’ names will be added to the Distinguished Teaching/Service/Scholarship plaque displayed in Churchill Hall.
